Transcript Phi Theta Kappa PTK PUBLISHES DIRECTORY OLD MEMBERS-PHI THETA KAPPA. Front: Mattie Fletcher, Ruth Gillispie, Judy Matthews, Beverly Wilson. Middle: Morie Cobb, La Vann Shellenberg, Hazel Layne, Helga Guttman. Back: Mike Tadlock, Barry Berger, Lamar Fuller. PHI THETA KAPPA—OFFICERS: John Pierce, president; Diana Montagne, vice-president; Mrs. Jean Rosa, sponsor; Carol Ann Chippendale, representative; Ollie Welch, national secretary; Stephen Liles, student representative. Phi Theta Kappa is a national junior scholarship fraternity with aims to promote scholarship, character, and leadership among students in the junior colleges. Every fall the members spend many hours compiling and selling the Student Directory. Each semester the Society takes in new pledges, requiring for initiation a 3.2 average. Every November the group holds a reception for the fall pledges, and at spring banquet the spring pledges are initiated. 202 NEW MEMBERS—PHI THETA KAPPA; Front: Carol Lillibridge, Peggy Elmore, Kay Brendel, Barber, Tiller, Josephson, Janda.
