Transcript Tau Beta Pi HONORARY CLUB STRESSES GRADES Tau Beta Pi, national engineering society, was founded at Leigh University in 1885. It is also a member of the College Honor Society and the American Society of Engineer Education. The UH chapter, Texas Epsilon Chi, was founded in February, 1962. Tau Beta Pi is dedicated to distinguished scholarship and superior character as undergraduates or alumni, and to foster the spirit of liberal culture in the engineering colleges of America. Social activities include a biannual Initiation Banquet which ends each semester. TAU BETA PI officers are Pak Fat Woo, treasurer; Wayne Small, president; Ramon Rivero, secretary; Andres Yepes; Barlow Simmons; and Richard Brooks, vice-president. Front Row: J. Boyd, E. W.
