THEY BRIDGE GAP
Alpha Delta Sigma's aim, to bridge
the gap between advertising education
and advertising business, is accomplished by working on various projects
with the alumni chapter and with other
advertising organizations. Outstanding
speakers are featured at each meeting.
This year ADS completed two brochures, one establishing an advertising
internship program and the other obtaining jobs for advertising students.
The main projects included the co-
sponsorship of the Advertising Week
Banquet, the ADS-GAX Regional Meet,
and co-sponsorship of the Student Directory.
Social events included a New Year's
Eve party and a spring barbecue.
Alpha Epsilon Rho
Alpha Epsilon Rho, honorary organization for students in radio-television, encourages and recognizes outstanding radio and television students
who maintain a high scholastic average.
Established in 1957, Alpha Phi
chapter of AERho includes among
its service projects guiding groups
through KUHT and KUHF.
At the end of the spring semester,
AERho sponsors an Awards Banquet,
at which departmental and chapter
awards are presented, including an
AERho monetary award to an outstanding junior.
