Transcript | Sigma Alpha Epsilon—2216 Calumet SIGMA ALPHA EPSILON Sigma Alpha Epsilon offers a lifetime fellowship of brothers with over 100.000 members in 150 ehapters, making it the largest national fraternity. Participation in campus activities is not neglected by SAE. Besides entering the Homecoming float competition, the fraternity can claim first place in football intramurals. As their local service project, the SAE's sponsor a Christmas party for orphans and retarded children. Founded March 9. 1856. at the University of Alabama. SAE annually holds its Black and White Ball in the spring. Outstanding members of Sigma Alpha Epsilon include basketball lettermen Tom Thomson. Dick Thurman. Norman Tuffli. and Denny Bishop, and baseball letterman Ross Hopkin. Vic Reed is a cheerleader and a member of Spirits, while Bill Hensley is speaker of the House of Representatives and a member of ODK. Harold Pieratt President Sweetheart.
