Transcript Season's Round-Up CALIFORNIA (Davis). Houston. Dec. 1—UH opened its most successful season in history with an amazingly easy victory over the University of California. The Cal Aggies were dazzled from the opening tipoff and were humiliated. 95-17. TEXAS A & M. College Station, Dec. 5—The first road trip for Guy Lewis' crew was short and sad. Soph Bennie Lenox led a second half rally to give heated A&M a 61-19 win. LAMAR TECH. Beaumont. Dec. 7—Lamar Tech's Cardinals played host to the Cougars in the season's third game and almost put the Big Red in the red. The buzzer ending an overtime period sounded just before Tech's Dick Smith fired a perfect 10-foot set shot, and UH took the game, <2-7(). TCU. Houston. Dec. 12—The Cats scored the first of three wins over Texas Christian as Lyle Harger -auk five crucial points in a late-game rails to give Houston a To-71 win. CITY OF ROSES TOl RNAMENT.
