Transcript Informal seminars characterize the Contemporary Woman series. The UH Continuing Education program differed from all others on campus. It provided a well-rounded curriculum of non-credit courses for those in the community seeking personal betterment. The refresher and self-awareness courses ranged from shorthand to an entire series on the Contemporary Woman and her evolving role. It allowed those from all strata of society an opportunity to meet and discuss common goals and problems, and thus gain a fuller insight into possible courses of action. The dynamic Continuing Education Center provided a relaxed atmosphere for those interested in broadening their outlook and indeed continuing their education in life. continuing education center Continuing Education Center 263
