A major concern was to make beneficial contributions to the Black community as evidenced in their fund raising drive for needy families. During Black History Month the BSU sponsored an outstanding program, "200 Years of US." The month's activities ranged from dramatic interpretation by M. C. Williams drama group to panel discussions on relevant racial issues. Included in their presentation were tributes to Dr. Martin Luther King and former student leader Lynn Eusan. Sonya Barnes, Estrellita Reed, and Pamela Guidry enjoy a club luncheon. Black Student Union 195
