Transcript | Music-makers move campus with variety of sounds ABOVE LEFT: A zany group of ex-Columbia students, "Sha- Na-Na," entrall students with bouncy 1950's style music and hilarious imitations of luminaries from that memorable period. FAR LEFT: "The Southwest Freeway" entertains an Arbor crowd at no cost other than the effects of the poor acoustics on the listeners' ears. MIDDLE LEFT: "Up With People" put out their sunshine sounds to a University Center gathering. LEFT: The country-rock sounds of "The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band" creates a feeling of authenticity during their low-cost concert at Hofheinz Pavilion. 129 |
