Transcript | Zeta Tau Alphas founding principle is "Love, the greatest of all things!' Through this love, they form a chain that is strong in itself since each individual is strong and unique. Zetas pride themselves on offering women unlimited opportunities to develop leadership skills and become involved in campus and community activities. Service is a big part of Zeta Tau Alpha. Events such as the annual golf tournament and haunted house raise large donations for their national philanthropy, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Intramural athletics is also a major part of ZTA. The Zetas were recently awarded Athletes of the Year for the second consecutive time, and were the only sorority to ever win the All-School Championship. As the third largest sorority in the nation and the largest in Texas, the University of Houston chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha has been recognized nationally. It received the Best Chapter Award at the state convention, as well as the Crown Chapter Award. "We strive to create a high sense of sisterhood and friendship that will last a lifetime!' said Zeta Tau Alpha President Monica Martinez.
