Residents fake Time Off Residence Halls Association sponsors trail ride for students Resident Advisers planned a trip for residents to relax from pressures of classes by taking residents on a trail ride outside of League City. Sponsored by the Residence Halls Association, residents paid a small fee to attend. Fifteen residents took advantage of the opportunity to go on the trail ride, which lasted two hours. Residents were taken on tours by trail leaders and shown around the camp. "I really enjoyed the trail ride because I love to ride horses and the experience was so much fun. Being with my friends made it memorable;' said freshman University Studies student Raul Salazar. RAs plan activities for residents so living on campus can be full of excitement and good memories, a small part of their job. RA Stella Emata went on the trip and said she enjoyed the ride because she was able to spend more time with her floor residents. Brian Winch, junior mechanical engineering major, said, "I wouldn't miss this trip for the world. I learned so much about riding horses and what it takes to take care of them:' Residence Halls Junior mechanical engineering major Brian Winch prepares TO BEGIN THE TOUR ACROSS THE CAMP AT LEAGUE city.
