Transcript | Major Nispel briefs his cadets. Col. Michael Zwicker Commandant MILITARY SCIENCE Military training came to the campus in the fall of 1948 with the organization of a senior quartermaster ROTC unit. Last summer, the "troops" attended training at Camp Lee, Va. where they made quite a record for themselves. An annual military ball has already become a LJH tradition under the sponsorship of the ROTC. Cadets participate in the latest army training. MUSIC Long a stalwart of I H curriculum, the music department sponsors various musical recitals each year. Perhaps the high light of each year for the department is the annual operetta. Training in voice and instruments is offered and the department has long been noted for the talented musicians which are a result of long hours of practice and study.
