Transcript | Top Ten Campus life shapes future Willing to listen to what others have to say, Barbara Sultis enjoys being around all types of people. People have something to offer, and Barbara feels that she can learn from every person she meets. An active person, she would rather play tennis, jog, or watch sports than just sit in her room. "When one is very active in high school and just moves onto the campus at the University of Houston, it is a big transition. It has been four years since then, and I feel that I have greatly matured as a person. Besides growing mentally, I feel that I have grown personally, through my activities centered on all facets of the university community. I have come to learn more about myself. I now do not live in a fantasy world where a job is guaranteed you when you leave this campus. I realize that a person has to work for everything, and he gets satisfaction from doing a job well. The University campus and its impact on my life can only shape me for the future. It has greatly modled my present beliefs, and I look only optimistically to the future." 214 Top Ten |
