Transcript | Top Ten Work boosts life insights Aware of her part of a struggle for herself and for others, Marionette Mitchell participates in many activities. Her goal is to be a useful part of society by helping build a better place for everyone. "The University experience has had an impact upon my life. I have become involved in many activities that have created a level of consciousness that I have not previously experienced. I've become aware of the role of the individual in this society, and how solidarity of ideas and actions are the building blocks of any successful venture. "I have worked extensively in student government and felt the need for the voice of all people to be heard in issues common to all. I have met many different people and have been exposed to different ideas on various issues. I have gained a level of tolerance for things that I had once not been able to tolerate, recognizing and appreciating individuals and different points of view. I feel my experiences here have helped strengthen me in many ways." 212 Top Ten |
