Transcript | Pitchers throw Coog losses Led by first baseman Steve Reeves, the Coogs began the season extremely well. They won seven of their first ten games. Then they played Texas. After losing three straight games to the Longhorns, the Cougars never looked the same. Relief pitching was a low point for the team this year. Games that seemed won were lost by relief pitchers.
