Transcript | LOST YARDAGE for the West Texas Buffaloes was the result of this attempted end run by Lloyd Johnson, Buff fullback, as Max Clark (20) and two unidentified Cougars stop the play cold. West Texans Trip Cougars 28-13 CANYON, Oct. 30.—A Canadian Comet named Bill Cross led the West Texas Buffaloes to a 28-13 homecoming victory over the Cougars. The Buffaloes lashed out with two quick first quarter tallies and were never in trouble afterwards. The Cougars were the first to threaten when quarterback Allan Neveux's successful field goal was called back. His second | attempt was no good.
