Transcript | ESCROLLUS CENTURY BALL College students of the "Roaring Twenties" were portrayed by Joyce Zoch and Lloyd E. Smith, left above, winners of the couple contest. Jean Adair Collins, ex-student, dressed as a flapper, and James Womack, who portrayed an Arabian sultan, were the winners in the individual contest. The Escrollus Ball, annual costume ball sponsored by the Escrollus society, architectural group, was named the Century Ball this year. Selection of queen of the ball and prizes awarded to the best-dressed boy, girl, and couple were highlights of the affair. Walking for the judges are several costumed couples. Betty Adcock, second from right, a four leaf clover, was judged as queen of the ball, representing the Cougar Collegians. One of the four other candidates was Janice Williamson, management student from Alpha Delta Omega, extreme right. |
