Transcript | "I have a book of thoughts and dreams, In which I read at times, Where many a long past joy gleams, And hosts of singing rhymes.." College life may not be logical or classified, but it is easier to read and understand in that fashion. So The Houstonian endeavors to classify the events in 1937-38 so that the reader can more clearly imagine the whimsicalities that existed in the scenes of this unique year. It is not our purpose just to present a beautiful design or book to meet the requirements of a theme— we give a true portrayal of the University of Houston, its inner workings, its faculty, its students and its aim. Perhaps in years to come this Houstonian will bring back pleasant memories. |
