McElroy, director of the National Foundation, views graduation proceedings before delivering an address on today's ecological problems. LEFT: After enduring the gauntlet of BA, BS, Law or graduate programs of study, students persist through one more trying experience, two and one-half hours of commencement. Engineering, education, architecture and pharmacy conducted their own exercises where each undergraduate was presented with his degree.
