Transcript | MAR20 10 MAR20 WE ARE NINJA The Student Program Board found a new way to combat student apathy. The only drawback to the campus' second-annual flash mob, however, is that it gave at least one student a reason to skip out on class. Armin Suni, a member of the flash mob's black ninja team, said he missed class to attend the event, held shortly after noon on March 3 at the Cuiien Family Plaza, in which nearly 100 students competed on ninja teams in a 30-second dual. UH students were notified about the event via the social networking Web site Facebook. 10 110- Spring To the surprise of many passers-by, the red and black ninja teams face off for UH's second-annual flash mob, an event sponsored by the Student Program Board to encourage student involvement in campus activities. | Kendra Berglund Spring ■ 111 |
