Transcript | Sororities Pledge 81 Eighty-one girls pledged the six national sororities on campus amid laughter and tears. During registration week, excited rushees found fun, excitement and exhaustion during four days of parties . . . parties all day long. Sorority members had skit practices, worked on decorations and planned for rush for weeks before the actual time arrived. Parties were held Thursday through Saturday before classes began, and bids were extended on Monday night. Then rushees became pledges and embarked upon a new experience in college, finding new friends and a place on campus in the process. It's variety show time for rushees at Zeta Tau Alpha's party. Alpha Chi's Brenda Jones, Cheryl Buford, Charlotte Fountain and Judy Hall clown it up at their circus party. "Ooh, you don't want to pledge anything but Delta Gamma," says Willie Ryland. |
