American Institute of Chemical Engineers Field trips to the Monsanto Chemical Plant at Alvin, Texas, and to the Manned Spacecraft Center highlighted the 1964- 65 efforts of the University of Houston chapter of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. Speeches concerning job interviews, the philosophy of chemical engineernig, and the relationship of law and engineering were given by men prom inent in the field of chemical engineering and were part of the professional development of the student members.
