Phi Beta A formal recital given in November was the largest project of the year for Phi Beta, professional fraternity for women in the fields of music, drama, and speech. For their annual service project, Phi Beta members collected and sent all extra music materials to the University of Manila to help start a music department there. Other activities included candlelight services for graduates and the joining with Pi Alpha Alpha, alumnae chapter of Phi Beta, in honoring their national patrons with a reception.
