Transcript Zeta Tau Alpha Carolyn Meyer, Zeta President, accepts from Bill Rozelle the Delta Sigma Phi Best Sorority award at the Homecoming Dance. With plates in hand, Joe Lopasky and Ann Sauer await the Bar-B-Q feast prepared in honor of Senior football players. In another year of outstanding achievement, the Zetas dressed in green, and with a medley of Irish tunes, sang their way into the first place spot in Songfest. Leaders of the shield and crown this year were Carolyn Meyer, President; Jackie Scott, Vice-President; Marinel Chambers, Secretary, and Nancy Smith, Treasurer. Also Carol Evans, Historian and Mary Bleakie, Rush Captain. Those members receiving special honors this year were Diane Hens- ley, Cheerleader; Jane Hamilton and Jackie Scott, Twirlers; Carolyn Meyer, Who's Who and Greek of the Week; Sandy Krell, Top Ten Beauty, and Eileen McCarroll, Hedges Dorm Council. Also, Sue Clarke, Valentine Sweetheart; Lil Dows, Who's Who; Jackie Scott, Pike Sweetheart; Diane Hensley, Sigma Chi Sweetheart, and Karen Effinger, Phi Sigma Kappa Sweetheart. Jackie Scott, Ann Sauer, Lida Light, and Carolyn Meyer exhibit the Zeta crest, during a Pajama rush party. Escorted by Cadet James Simmons, Zeta Diane Hensley was presented as one of the finalists for Homecoming Queen at the Miami football game. 294
