Transcript | College of Technology DEAN HUGH E. McCALLICK Hugh E. McCallick was officially installed as Dean of the College of Technology at the University of Houston in September 1964. He had served as Acting Dean during the preceding summer. Just two months after he took over the duties of his office, Dean McCallick was appointed chairman of a national committee for the development and evaluation of creating a four-year technology program. The course is currently a two-year plan of study. By studying the weak points as well as the advantages involved in such an undertaking, the committee seeks to draft a program compatible with the needs of the profession. 124 |
