A number of retreats and conferences were held to guide students. BSU coordinated Evangelism Emphasis Week, a lecture series with guest speaker Dr. George Schweitzer; a Mid-Winter Retreat in Athens, Texas and a Leadership Training Conference at Hardin-Simmons University. BSU also involved itself with International students and helped to make them feel at home away from home.
