Geology Department Geology offers study in mineralogy, petrology, well samples, oil, and gem minerals. More than forty-four courses, including these, are offered by the geology department, under the chairmanship of Dr. G. B. Somers. Math Department More than forty courses are offered in the math department, giving a student the choice of either a Bachelor of Arts degree or a Bachelor of Science degree. In order to obtain one of the degrees, a student must have completed twenty-seven hours in mathematics, twelve of which must be advanced. In addition he must have credit for two years ot French or German. The math department is directed by Mr. J. D. Hutchinson. |
