Transcript | BASEBALL St. Louis Tops Cougars for Baseball Crown With a successful season of 11 wins and six losses, the Cougar batmen placed second to St. Louis in the Missouri Valley Conference. Leaders of the 1952 Baseball squad were Bobby Hollmann, pitcher; Felix Fraga, first baseman; and Harry Keister, right fielder. Coach Hill's men had one of their best days when they defeated Texas A&M 18-5. Ken Lilie had the best pitching average with 2-0, for 1.000, and Hollmann had a 6-1 record and a .857 average.
