Transcript | ROYCE RAY Co-Captain-Center JACK BELL Guard The Cougars started strong, easily handling a Southwest Conference rival, Texas A&M, by 38-29. They led 18-8 at half time. Oklahoma City University just about contributed the following game, changed their minds and won, however, 42-39. The Cougars were ahead by five points with 15 minutes left, but could manage only 10 more points, while Oklahoma added 18 points to outscore the Cats. Unbeaten Murray State remained unbeaten, but only by 3 points in the next game, an intersectional match. A two-hander with 25 seconds left was the margin of victory. Final score was 67-65. Bradford hit nine field goals and one free-throw for a game high of 19 points. At right, Bell has it and plans to keep it, but he's under close guard. |
