Transcript Hazel Ault Barbara Bassham Noralie Boyles Betty Jo Buse June Connaly Florence Engle June Elmore Jackie Foster PI LAMBDA CHI Organized in the Spring of 1940, Pi Lambda Chi is the second oldest sorority on the campus. Six charter members were unified toward the purpose of creating a means for the betterment of the University and of campus life. With eleven years of maturity the group has become well known for their active participation in student activities. The sorority has an annual "Founder's Day" banquet honoring the alumni, a Christmas open house, a tea honoring the pledges and mothers, and a cocktail party in the Spring. Two projects of the members are sewing bandages for the Cancer Relief Society and sending a basket to the needy at Christmas time. They also have a show in Frontier Fiesta.
