Transcript CAVALIER John C. Blakley CLARENCE TAYLOR Sponsor CAVALIERS CHAMPION INTRAMURAL FOOTBALL TEAM A. Byron Keeler, Jr. o The Cavalier fraternity was founded in the fall of 1946 by twelve charter members. The organization of the fraternity was based on the need for an organized group who would work together in an effort to stimulate fellowship and school spirit at the University and to this end the Cavaliers are dedicated. One of the top shows in Frontier Fiesta, "Cavalier Theater," is sponsored by this group and it was the first fraternity on campus to hold a sweetheart ball. Members are prominent in student government, athletics, and campus activities, and organized The Frontiersmen Association, a campus service group. Social events of the fraternity include rush season parties, and two formal dances, one at Christmas and one in the Spring. Bill McWilliams President Larry Heying Acting Vice President William H.
