Transcript | COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCE Military Science Future Quartermaster Officers began training at the University in 1948. Recent threats of war have made the program more vital to national security this year than ever before. Cadets attend annual summer camp at Fort Lee, Va., and the record of the University of Houston trainees at camp has been so impressive during the past years, that the unit's supremacy is rapidly becoming traditional. The Cullen Rifles, crack drill team, already enjoys the reputation of being one of the most outstanding marching units in the Southwest. , to rigVif. Sgt- Seated: Lt. Va-oi. lntyre. |
