Alpha Phi activities include Pledge Presentation, an outstanding float in Homecoming, Founder's Day, Mother and Daughter Christmas Tea, football intramurals, spring formal, and the "French Quarter" in Fiesta. Serenades, picnics, and dinners are given in the spring. Alpha Phi officers are Margaret Jackman, president; JoAnn Khaled, first vice president; Jeanette Hillman, second vice president; Lillian Clauder, recording secretary; Joan Sue Young, corresponding secretary; Martha Goodrich, treasurer; Mary Beth Blasdel, historian; Carolyn Carlile, chaplain; Pat Smith, sergeant-at-arms; Garland Matthews, parliamentarian; Nancie Sweeton, The Quarterly; Dana Sellers, philanthropies; and Truby Darden, song leader. 163 |
