Young and Charles H. Lewis. Top Advertising Students Receive Bids to ADS Founded in 1913 at the University of Missouri, Alpha Delta Sigma, the National Professional Advertising Fraternity for Men, helps bridge the gap from advertising theory to advertising experience. All members of ADS are associate members either of the advertising Federation of America or the Advertising Association of the West. In ADS chapter activities, individual members build up work in advertising outside the classroom, which increases their stature when they approach their first employees. Alpha Delta Sigma's national convention meets in June of each odd-numbered year. Recent conventions have been held at Eugene, Oregon, Cape Cod, Daytona Beach and Chicago. ADS is a group which maintains the respect of "all of the people who now work in advertising, marketing, and related fields. 118 Offic ers |
