| Transcript | Senior trackster Wayne Johnson was the backbone on this year's track team. Besides excelling in the individual events, he anchored two relay teams. Johnson was UH's first Southwest Conference individual champion when he won the 100 yard dash in 9.4 seconds. He is also the anchor man of UH's record setting 440 and 880 yard relay teams. The Kaufman, Texas, speedster is due to compete in the Meet of Champions, t-he Southwest Conference and NCAA championship meets later this year. |
