Transcript | + Houstonian HOUSTONIAN EDITOR Charlie Sicola Annual Captures Hectic Year The HOUSTONIAN is not simply a yearbook; it is the personification of activity on the UH campus. The duty of the HOUSTONIAN staff is to photograph this activity, assemble it, and bring it to life on its 432 pages. HOUSTONIAN staff members are a part of a year- round job which extends from summer to summer. Class pictures, Vanity Fair, faculty, staff, and college life pages are planned, and their pictures taken. Honors, sports, and organizations—all are assembled in the hectic spring semester, and upon completion, the HOUSTONIAN goes to press in early June. A sigh in unison from editor Charlie Sicola and his staff members accompanies the roaring of the plane which carries the copy sheets to Taylor Publishing Company in Dallas.
