Inscription | The chair pictured on Plate 114 is exactly similar to the set of four given by me in 1977 to the Museum of Fine Arts that are now shown in the Music Room at Bayou Bend - Richard Randall Jr. Director of the Walters Gallery in Baltimore, when he was Curator of American Decorative Arts at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts said my four chairs were from the Darby West set from which eight similar chairs are exhibited in the McIntire Dining Room in the Boston Museum - John F. Staub March 29 1978 |
