Transcript | ARTICLE IV. Management. Sec. 1. The affairs of the Socialist Party shall be administered by National Conventions*, the National Executive Committee, its officers and sub-committees. Sec. 2. The National Executive Committee shall consist of the National Chairman and ten (10) members, not more than two to come from one state, and shall be elected by National Convention of the party. It shall require a majority of the votes cast to elect. A. Candidates receiving less than a majority of the votes cast shall be balloted for until the full committee is elected. Sec. 3. The National Convention shall ak-o elect in the same manner, five (5) alternates to the National Executive Committee, from whom vacancies in the committee shall be filled in the order of the vote they received. Sec. 4. The members of the National Executive Committee and the alternates shall be elected by ballot, each delegate casting the number of votes he is entitled to in proportion to the membership of the state. Sec. 5. Vacancies in the office of the National Chairman shall be filled by the National Executive Committee from its own membership. ■-6 — |
