Transcript PUBLISHERS' NOTE Mr. McCabe's story of why he left the Roman Catholic Church was written in 1897, Dut ** has lost none of its interest, and it is here reproduced as originally published, with only slight modifications. The literary presentation of the narrative may differ somewhat from the more mature work of Mr. McCabe, but it is thought best to reproduce the booklet as it was written in order to show the very definite frame of mind in which he left the Church. The many editions through which it has passed are sufficient testimony to its interest. ON SPIRITUALISM AND A LIFE BEYOND SPIRITUALISM AND SIR OLIVER LODGE. By Charles A.
