For Friday evening, December 2. 1983. through Friday evening. December 9, 1983:
ARIES—You are moving in the direction of a locked door. You will find
the key. but not without some searching. The opening of that door
begins a journey where thesign posts all speak of a knowledge based on
a greater understanding of relationship.
TAURUS—You will be acutely aware ot how you are seen and known
by others. From that awareness follows the realization of the positive
and negative limits that define your life. You will want to communicate
your deepest self to one you love deeply. It can only lead to good.
GEMINI—A release through display of your love and affection.
Holding back at this point can cause only more tension and lead to
emotional stagnation. Let it all go. It is a time of great energy, and the
proper use of that energy is the making of a powerful love.
CANCER—If you hadn't planned on being with your family this
Christmas, you should; otherwise, you'll miss out on what union and
reunion can really feel like and mean. There's some tension, even frenzy
in a sexual relationship you're having. A break from that couldn't hurt,
could it?
LEO—And, for Leo also, home is most definitely where the heart is.
Some difficult words between you and a man from your past will come
and go, eventually overshadowed by the absolutely charming and loving
way that you do the things you do.
VIRGO—Brothers and sisters can best help you work out the
problems you're faced with. You're reaching out for acceptance; if you
didn't want it so much, things might be a lot easier, but certainly a lot less
interesting. Be able to reach in for acceptance.
LIBRA—The great American poet, Charles Olson, has a line—"I have
had to learn the simplest things last—which has made for difficulties."
Learning some of the simplest things now will certainly ease some of the
difficulty you're experiencing. No stopping you now!
SCORPIO—Having—though important—is not enough for Scorpio.
The more important thing is a kind of double-edged knowledge of what
it is that you have. The blade that cuts through the material world may
itself be made from that world.
SAGITTARIUS—There is a kind of nobility about you now, that in its
embracing of the central meaning of Christmas spreads a radiant and
joyful light. It is a time when your ability to create the future should not
be missed. You can really share.
CAPRICORN—The question you keep asking is "why is this
happening to me?" The question itself may be your stumbling block.
The joviality and high spirits of others feel like an affront to what you are
going through. Give yourself the gift of solitude when you need it.
AQUARIUS—The intense desire to create something of lasting
importance may begin to be fulfilled if you keep your eyes open and
allow yourself to take chances. What you see may only be the seed, but
take it, nurture it, and watch you grow.
PISCES—The participation in a certain ritual holds special meaning
for you now. It could be trimming the tree or sending out the cards.
Something that was empty becomes full; sing the carols, tie the ribbons,
and have a very Merry Christmas.
