Here is a sample of what to expect the next few days. □ From Christmas in Montrose Hall pool and park becomes the center for the big night of lights. All of downtown will remain lit as camera freaks explore the best Christmas shots of downtown Houston for tbe holidays. Mayor Whitmire will be featured at this annual event. The Montrose Christmas concert will combine The Montrose Symphonic Band and the Choir of Metropolitan Community Church of the Resur- Claude Pollack and Hill Wooten demonstrate their art for Montrose Art Alliance opening Several events have started. Montrose Art Alliance's Second Annual Christmas Arts & Crafts Show & Sale continues through Dec, 20 at 1006Missouri Street. 526-3663. Many patrons gathered there last Friday to view demonstrations of rubber stamping hy Lyle Barrel: ceramic making by Steve Terry: abstract art by Elliott Howard, and many wonderful original Christmas cards hy line artist Mary Butler. It is well worth your time. Share-Abration kicked off last Friday and continues through Nov. 28. This gathering of cash and food for the needy continues. Call 528-1111 for drop off points.
