Description | Propers of the Church year, music and text for the Office of the Epiphany: sixth responsory, antiphon. LAYOUT: 1 column, full page, frame ruled in lead (580 x 370 mm.). Five 5-line staves with square notation, bass clef. Additional ruling lines between the staves for the written text and on the upper border for running title and foliation. There are five lines of text. Pricking holes in correspondence of the ruling for the text lines. SCRIPT: Gothic liturgical book hand. DECORATION: primary initial ‘V’ in red and mauve, (110 x 75 mm). Pen-flourished secondary initials ‘V’ and ‘G’ (110 x 65 mm), in black. In red: running titles, indication of psalms, antiphons and verses. PLACE OF CREATION: Spain. |
