Description Music and text for seventh Sunday after Pentecost: Offertory (Daniel 3.40) and Communion (Ps. 30.3), eighth Sunday after Pentecost: Introitus (Ps. 47.10). LAYOUT: 1 column, full page, frame ruled in lead (410 x 255 mm.). Six 5-line staves with square notation, bass and treble clef. Additional ruling lines between the staves for the written text. There are six lines of text. SCRIPT: mannerist gothic liturgical book hand, the rule on the use of round ‘d’ is totally ignored. DECORATION: woodcut capitals imitating pen-flourished initials, alternating red on blue ground and blue on red ground. The inside of the letters is hand colored. Red titles. PLACE OF CREATION: Spain.
