Description | Letter by J. Y. Powell explaining to Mr. Joseph S. Cullinan the decision taken by the advisory committee in regards to the closing of the Houston Negro Hospital. Mr. J. Y. Powell states that, after much deliberation, it was decided that the hospital should apply to the City of Houston to provide enough patients to continue operations. Mr. J. Y. Powell also expresses his determination to contact the mayor of the city for support of this decision. |
