Description | In this letter, J. Y. Powell informs Joseph S. Cullinan that the financial situation of the Houston Negro Hospital has improved enough for the fire insurance policy to be renewed. Mr. J. Y. Powell also tells Mr. Joseph S. Cullinan that a formal proposition has been submitted to Judge W. H. Ward and the County Commissioners in behalf of the hospital that would furnish hospital services to colored patients at a rate of $3.00 per patient per day. |
