Description | Copy of a letter to J. Y. Powell from Joseph S. Cullinan concerning a meeting between county and city officials mentioned in the Houston Press. Mr. Joseph S. Cullinan feels that it should be brought up that the Houston Negro Hospital is already equipped and could potentially hold up to 300 beds, which would cost little compared to building a new city and county hospital. Mr. Joseph S. Cullinan also feels that, in cases of emergency, the hospital could take in Mexican patients as well. |
