Transcript iiiJi :,. .■: I'DOQ: i Cheerful interior of Moorestown Mall Shopping Center cafeteria style restaurant in Moorestown, N.J. CAFETERIA SERVICE Charles E. Baker, Vice President Cafeteria Division preparing for opening of NorthPark Center Cafeteria in Dallas, Texas. Marriott-Hot Shoppes, Inc. has been keeping pace with the continued growth of suburbia by opening a cafeteria style restaurant in Moorestown Mall, N.J. and another at Marlow Heights in Prince Georges County, Md. In addition to these a large two-line cafeteria was opened in August 1965 in the NorthPark Shopping Center in Dallas, Texas. In order to assure that each operation rests in the hands of properly trained management and personnel, a new in-depth management training program for assistant managers has been established. This extensive one-year program enables our cafeterias to create and sustain high quality standards in both food and service areas. Continuing improvements in kitchen design facilitate the handling of food and make kitchen production more effective. There has also been the introduction of new recipes and new menu items to add to the several hundred items presently featured. New merchandising techniques have improved the counter display of food, helping to increase sales. Expansion in the coming year for this division includes facilities in Boston, Cincinnati and Rockville, Md., bringing the number of Hot Shoppes Cafeterias to 24.
