Transcript MARRIOTT SPECIALTY RESTAURANTS Increases in business were experienced in all of our hotel and specialty restaurants in fiscal 1965. Our Sirloin and Saddle Restaurants in locations other than our motor hotels continue to experience increased volume as their reputation for gracious dining in an elegant atmosphere continues to spread in the areas they serve. Nightly entertainment, Polynesian beverages and hors d'oeuvres have been added to the hotel Windjammer Lounges resulting in increased sales and customer appeal. The new Stirrup Cup Lounge in the Philadelphia Marriott and the Railroad Club Car Lounge in the Atlanta Marriott provide a unique atmosphere for our guests' pleasure. In our hotel banquet departments, significant advances in improving quality and efficiency have been made. Our Research and Development staff has developed new preparation techniques, and new recipes for hors d'oeuvres, canapes, appetizers, desserts, and other special menu items. Our Specialty Restaurants Division, one of the newer operations in the Company's diversification program, has met with encouraging public acceptance. New merchandising programs will continue to be instituted to insure future growth and profits of this division. Flaming brochette of beef seared over hot coals before being served.
