Transcript W. W. "Bud" Grice, Vice President, Sales and James E. Durbin, Executive Vice President, Marriott Motor Hotels. Attractive guest room, typical of Marriott Motor Hotel accommodations. Marriott brings to Atlanta the first new major convention hotel in over 35 years and as a result, Marriott salesmen booked several million dollars in convention business prior to its opening. The March 1966 opening of the Marriott Motor Hotel in Saddle Brook, New Jersey, will enable this 260-room Motor Hotel to serve the heavily populated Northern New Jersey residential and industrial areas. This ideal location at the intersection of the Garden State Parkway and Interstate 80 features a 12th floor roof-top Sirloin and Saddle Restaurant and a Windjammer Lounge. The construction of a Motor Hotel in Chicago in the summer of 1966, will give the Midwest a facility featuring more than 400 rooms and suites and complete convention facilities, including a ballroom to accommodate more than 1,000 persons. Located on Chicago's John F. Kennedy Expressway it is just five minutes from O'Hare International Airport. Our Hotel Division has plans for a Management Fee Program in which we would supply to outside investors the Marriott name and our long- established experience, know-how, purchasing power, and sales capabilities in the hotel and restaurant fields. Currently, we are conducting negotiations in this newly-developing hotel management field, and the prospects for the even- tualgrowth of a profitable adjunct to our existing company-owned operations are promising. Rendering of the new Atlanta Motor Hotel Ballroom. Windjammer Lounges, featuring authentic clipper ship decor, are a favorite of hotel guests. JM1I
