Transcript | CAFETERIA SERVICE Charles E. Baker Recognizing the vast public feeding potential existing in the large shopping centers being developed in middle and higher- income suburban areas throughout the land, Hot Shoppes in recent years has been concentrating expansion of its cafeteria service in this direction. Hot Shoppes cafeteria-style restaurants—while providing quality food at moderate prices—offer a gracious, comfortable atmosphere conducive to relaxing, dining-out pleasure for the entire family, where the commuting husband and his wife and children can truly enjoy an evening or week-end meal- away-from-home without facing a tiring trip back to the city. Beautiful interior decor—tasteful blendings of warm colors, luxurious carpeting, attractive interior plantings, original wall decorations, special lighting effects, stylish, comfortable furnishings and many other important extra refinements make Hot Shoppes' cafeteria-style restaurants particularly distinctive. Today, Hot Shoppes' cafeteria-style restaurants are located in a number of major shopping centers in six states as far west as Salt Lake City, Utah. The company recently opened a large cafeteria in the Severance Shopping Center, in Cleveland, Ohio, our first operation in this state. In addition to major shopping centers, Hot Shoppes also is constantly seeking exceptional locations in new office buildings, both in downtown and suburban locations. Typical of these operations is the new Hot Shoppes cafeteria-style restaurant in the Nassif Building in suburban Fairfax County, Virginia. The enthusiastic acceptance of this new family dining-out concept by both the public and developers of major shopping centers is demonstrated in the continued expansion of our Cafeteria Division. |
