Title | Fat Pat at Bam's Sales & Services auto shop |
Place of Creation (TGN) |
|
Description | Fat Pat was the first freestyler to explode off the gray tapes, developing a following for his commanding delivery and streetwise attitude. Raised in the Dead End (where MLK Blvd. dead ends into Almeda-Genoa Rd.), Fat Pat was a flashy dresser with a magnetic personality. Phrases that Pat dropped on tapes popularized local slang and were reused by a generation of Houston rappers. |
